SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University and CollegeSports.com have launched a newly redesigned SantaClaraBroncos.com, the official website of Bronco athletics, which contains features and applications that will bring the school's alumni and fans closer than ever to their favorite teams and student-athletes. CollegeSports.com is a business unit of CSTV: College Sports Television (www.collegesports.com), the home of college sports. "This redesigned site will make it easier for our fan base to follow their favorite Broncos on a constant basis," said Richard Kilwien, SCU's Associate Athletic Director. "Taking advantage of the latest technology, we have made the site easier to navigate and have added components that will enable our followers to connect with Santa Clara athletics like never before. "We have been fortunate to have maintained a close relationship with collegesports.com since November, 2000 when SantaClaraBroncos.com first launched on its network. During that time, we have worked hard to provide Bronco fans with a state-of-the art website that reflects the Silicon Valley to which we so closely identify. We look forward to continuing to do that with an expansion of our services beginning with this new redesign." SantaClaraBroncos.com Features Include: Bronco Spotlight - various Bronco coaches and student-athletes are profiled on a regular basis via this "20 Questions" feature; Weekly Events Calendar - highlights upcoming Santa Clara athletic events, enabling alumni and fans nationwide to keep track of who's playing where; Today's Best - daily missives highlighting upcoming Bronco promotions and events of importance; Weather - up-to-the-minute weather for the San Jose/Santa Clara area, enabling Bronco fans in the area to plan accordingly in advance of attending Bronco events; News - the latest news emanating from all corners of the Santa Clara athletic department; Live Event Coverage - live web coverage of a number of Bronco sports, including Gametracker coverage for at least six sports and audio coverage of soccer and basketball. College Sports TV currently has agreements with distributors that represent more than 52 million homes nationwide, including the top three national distributors: Comcast, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable.
