Milena Basile
The junior from Bellevue, Wash., helped the Broncos to a 15th place finish out of 28 teams at last weekend's NCAA West Regional. She was the third highest finisher for Santa Clara and the 90th place finisher overall, crossing the finish line in a time of 23:53. Her 18th place finish in a time of 19:29 was enough to help the Broncos to a second place finish in the WCC Championships two weeks prior to the Regionals. Milena has also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a 3.69 GPA in Combined Sciences.
Michael Helms
The senior from Poway, Calif., helped the Broncos to a 14th place finish out of 23 teams at the NCAA West Regional this past weekend. He was the top finisher for Santa Clara and 61st overall, crossing the finish line in a time of 32:31. He earned All-WCC honors this season for his 8th place finish at the conference championships two weekends ago, crossing the finish line in a time of 26:06. Michael has also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a 3.07 overall GPA in Finance.
