SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University has named Josh Munk as its Manager of Facilities and Operations, Director of Athletics and Recreation Cheryl L. Levick announced today.
Munk will be responsible for managing all aspects of Santa Clara's athletic facilities, including the newly-refurbished Leavey Center, Buck Shaw Stadium, Bellomy and Stanton Fields and the Santa Clara University Tennis Center. In addition, he will manage the department's gameday operations and special events under the direction of Associate Director of Athletics John Veargason.
"We are pleased to have Josh as a member of our team," said Levick. "He has an excellent background in facility management and gameday operations at both Bradley University and Central Michigan. I am confident he will help us provide first-class service to our fans, coaches and athletic teams."
Munk is a 1999 graduate of Grand Valley State University and received his master's degree in sports administration from Central Michigan University. He has spent the last two seasons on the athletic operations staff at Bradley University. While at Bradley, Munk was involved in every aspect of facility management and gameday operations and worked several NCAA and Missouri Valley Conference events.
