Santa Clara Scholar-Athletes of the Week (Feb. 24 - Mar. 2)

Jennifer Bradley and Julie Butler from women's basketball were named Santa Clara's Scholar-Athletes of the Week.

Jennifer Bradley

The senior from Arvada, Colo., played in her final home game this past weekend, scoring five points and dishing out five assists in the 73-68 win over Saint Mary's. She is averaging just over 11 minutes of action per game in the 14 games she has appeared in this year. As a junior she recorded a remarkable .455 shooting percentage from behind the three-point line. A Communications major, Jennifer has also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.90 Fall Quarter GPA.

Julie Butler

The senior from Tacoma, Wash., played in her final home game this past weekend, scoring 12 points and grabbing four rebounds in the five-point win over Saint Mary's. She is currently among the team-leaders in both points per game (10.0) and rebounds per game (5.2), just below the 11.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game she recorded as a junior. A Sociology major, Julie has also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.36 Fall Quarter GPA.
