The sophomore from Bellevue, Washington finished 12th at the recent West Coast Conference Championships, earning All-WCC Honorable Mention honors and helping the Broncos to their first ever WCC title. She went on to be the Broncos' third finisher at the NCAA West Regionals in Tucson, Ariz. in a time of 25:18.4 over the 6K race. Her best race of the year was a seventh place finish at the Bronco Invitational in Belmont, Calif. where she finished the 5K race in a time of 19:13.0. Her ninth place finish in a time of 19:55.0 at the Sacramento Invitational helped the Broncos to their first win of the year. She has also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a 3.75 GPA in the College of Arts and Sciences.
The junior from San Francisco, Calif. scored five goals at the Western Water Polo Association Championships, including two in the Broncos' 10-9 victory over UC Santa Cruz. Finished second on the team in 2001 season with 35 goals. Scored a season-high five goals on November 4 against UC Santa Cruz in the Leavey Pool. Scored three goals on two different occasions, the first in the Broncos' double overtime win against BYU-Hawaii, the second in the Broncos' double-overtime loss to Pacific. He has also excelled out of the pool, maintaining a 3.37 GPA in Operations Management and Information Services.
