General Rules and Guidelines for Events in the Leavey Center
At Santa Clara University Intercollegiate Events:
For all Santa Clara Intercollegiate events (besides Men's Basketball), a valid access card will gain entrance for the Faculty/staff member and one guest. In the Leavey Center, the Faculty/Staff Gate is located at the Northeast Entrance.
To receive admittance to Men's Basketball games, a Faculty/Staff member must receive a ticket by presenting their Access Card to the Athletic Ticket Office the week of the event. Faculty/Staff Access Cards will not be accepted at the gate on the day of a Men's Basketball game.
Lost and Found
During an event, talk with a member of the Event Management staff to inquire about any items lost or found. After an event, call the Athletic Department Main Office at 408-554-4063 to inquire about items lost.
Merchandise, Game Programs and Game Notes
SCU Athletic merchandise, game programs and notes will be sold at Santa Clara Intercollegiate events in the Leavey Center.
Participating Player/Team Entrance
The entrance for teams/players participating in a game/match is through the lower level entrance on the North side of the Leavey Center (the old "airlock").
Pass List Gate
The Pass List Gate for all Santa Clara Intercollegiate events is located at the Northeast entrance of the Leavey Center. Proper identification is required.
Ruff Rider Gate
The Ruff Rider Gate is located at the Southwest entrance of the Leavey Center. To gain admittance to an event, an active club member will present their Access Card at the gate. To sit in the Ruff Rider Seating Area, the appropriate Ruff Rider shirt must be worn to allow entrance to the Ruff Rider Seating Area.
The Student-Athlete Pass Gate is located at the Northeast entrance of the Leavey Center. To gain admittance, a student-athlete must present their Access card and sign in on the Student-Athlete List.
SCU Event Ticket Sales
Day of game sales will begin one hour before the start of the event. Ticket booths will be open on both the East, South and North sides of the Leavey Center.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by clicking here, by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 408-554-4660.
Will Call for all Santa Clara Intercollegiate events in the Leavey Center is located at the Ticket Booth on the East side of the Center and opens one hour before the start of an event. Photo identification is required.
Parking for event patrons is available around campus, mainly in the Parking Structure and Leavey Lot. Extra parking is available off-campus or on city streets.
For Bronco Men's Basketball games and other certain events, a fee will be charged for parking in SCU-controlled areas.
A Caltrain station is located across the street from the main entrance to campus.
First Aid Service
See a member of the Event Management staff for assistance.
Santa Clara Athletics has contracted with Bon Appetit Management Company as the concession service provider at all athletic venues. Bon Appetit brings years of experience and knowledge and offers all fan favorites as well as several specialty items.
For all Santa Clara Intercollegiate events in the Leavey Center and most outside rental events, food concession service will be available. Alcohol will not be sold during events and is not permitted in the venue.
Disabled Seating and Access
In the Leavey Center, wheelchair accessible seating areas are available. When purchasing your ticket, ask the Ticket Office for an accessible seating location. When you arrive for the event, see a member of the Event Management staff for assistance or to receive a companion chair.
The disabled access ramp is located at the Northeast entrance of the Center. The closest disabled parking area is in the parking lot east of the Leavey Center, off Accolti Way.
An elevator to provide access from the concourse level to the event level is located at the Northeast entrance of the Leavey Center.
Baby Changing Stations
Baby changing stations are provided in both the men's and women's restrooms on the North concourse.
A suite that overlooks the arena is available for use during athletic contests and events.
Outside (Non-SCU) Event Information:
For a non-SCU athletic event, the event promoter will provide information specific to the event.
