Santa Clara, Calif. - Santa Clara University Athletics and the office of Bronco Athletic Marketing welcomed their corporate partners to campus for a day in Broncoland. An event held in appreciation of the commitment to and continued support of Santa Clara Athletics, "Bronco For A Day" allowed partners to experience Santa Clara Athletics up close and personal. Activities included a luncheon at the Donohoe Alumni House with Bronco student-athletes, coaches, athletic administration staff and Bucky the Bronco, a campus tour of academic and athletic facilities and the opportunity to soak up the excitement of a longtime college basketball rivalry - Santa Clara Men's Basketball vs. Saint Mary's.
"Today's event was a fun way to show our partners what it's like to be a Santa Clara Bronco," said George Husack, Director of Marketing and Corporate Partnerships. "My favorite part was to have them meet the student-athletes, the primary benefactors of their support. Without the commitment and vision that our partners share with us, our success on the playing field would be few and far between."
Bon Appetit, Santa Clara University's food service company and corporate partner of Santa Clara Athletics served the attendees with a delicious pre-game meal, while the men's basketball team captured their third consecutive victory.
