DANCE TEAM TRY-OUT DATE AND TIME HAVE BEEN CHANGED!!!!

DANCE TEAM TRY-OUTS WILL BE ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD. REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 12:30PM AND THE TRY-OUTS BEGINGS AT 1PM. THE TRY-OUT WILL REMAIN IN THE LEAVEY EVENT CENTER.

SPIRIT TRY-OUT PACKET - MUST PRINT AND BRING!

Please print and fill out the student health form and bring it with you on the 25th. You DO NOT need to fill out the Sickle Cell Weiver Form.

Tryouts for cheerleading are Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Leavey Center on the Santa Clara University campus.

The SCU Dance Team is part of the SCU Spirit Program and is made up of the best overall dancers from the Santa Clara University. They are young women who represent the University throughout campus and at other community events. The team performs at all volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball games as well as other athletic sponsored events as determined by the Santa Clara Athletic Department. The squad incorporates jazz, pom, hip-hop and other styles of dance in their routines. Advanced jazz technique, strong motion technique, quick learning ability and physical fitness are required. CAR WASH FUNDRAISER!!

Join the SCU Dance Team and Cheer Squad on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 for a car wash fundraising event! Help the dance team raise money for new uniforms and practice gear as well as for their culminating trip to Las Vegas for the West Coast Conference Tournament. Time & Location TBA.
